Wale Edu
President
Wale is a junior concentrating in Finance and a minor in Business Analytics. He spent his first 2 years studying Biology until he found his passion in life, the financial markets. He currently is working at Comerica Bank as an Finanicial Auditor. He was previously an intern at Merril Lynch as an Investment Research Analyst.
Wale focuses on the "Quantitative" side of investing. After graduation he plans to go into Private Equity.
Joseph Wysocki
Vice President
Joseph is a senior concentrating in finance with a minor in business analytics. He has previously interned at Plante Moran as a part of their wealth management division. Currently, Joseph works as a consultant for the University of Michigan football team where he specializes in analytics. In this role, he has created systems to assist in advance scouting and player evaluation. In his spare time, Joseph enjoys volunteering as a youth sports coach and spending time with his family.
Executive Board
The E-Board helps direct SAIFE in terms of strategic growth and development. The board consists of multiple students with varying degrees of experience both in the classroom and the financial industry. Together, the members of the board strive to improve the educational experience of all Oakland University students.
Adrian Veres
Chief Investment Officer
Adrian is a Physics and Finance major with a minor in Mathematics finishing up his last year of undergrad at Oakland University. He has been a member of SAIFE for almost two years. A former wealth management and research intern for a financial service firm, he is now responsible for balance sheet mangement, forecasting, risk mangement, and funds transfer pricing for GM Financials International Operations.
Adrian loves playing and watching soccer, football, and basketball, as well as taking day trips around the metro Detroit area. His future plans include working in banking and finance, and to start an Investment Advisory Firm.
Noah Nicholl
Treasurer
Noah is currently a sophomore at Oakland. He is a member of the Honors College as well as a Presidential Scholar. Began his college career as a chemistry major, but after the first semester his interests in the financial markets got the best of me and pointed him in the right direction. In addition to SAIFE, he is also an Executive Board member of Oak View Hall's House Council and a Peer-to-Peer Mentor. Noah's goal is to help educate people to increase their financial literacy and gain control over their finances.
Elliot Hewson
Marketing
Elliott is a junior concentrating in Finance and minoring in economics. He is also a member of the Business Scholars at the SBA where he gains presentation experience by competing in case competitions.This past summer summer he starting working for Apple Retail in hopes to join the business team so he can gain more experience with small and large business through client based relations. After graduating he hopes to pursue a masters degree in Finance. In his free time he likes to spend time with his girlfriend, friends, and family. He is also an avid board game player amongst his favorites are Monopoly and Settlers of Catan. He also enjoys to golf when the weather permits but admittedly is a terrible shot.
Arie Zeidner
Director of Marketing
Arie is a senior concentrating in Finance with a minor in Economics and International Management. He is currently employed as a Credit Analyst for Comerica Bank to further his real world application of Finance. After graduation he hopes to further his career by entering the Private Equity industry. Arie enjoys watching sports and participating in community service in Downtown Detroit.
